Product Description
We are providing direct reduced sponge iron, also abbreviated as DRI sponge iron. This product is acquired through the process of a direct tradition of iron ore. The said process is implemented on or when it is in a solid state. The gasses of hydrogen and carbon monoxide are used in this process, wherein these gasses are acquired from natural gas or coal. A large number of gas based direct reduction plants are integrated in steel mini-mills, alongside the electric Arc furnace (EAF).The direct reduced sponge iron, also abbreviated as DRI sponge iron, can be hot charged or cold charged to the EAF.
